It comes as no surprise that the Hotel St. George is inviting its guests to the 23rd edition of a gastronomic festival in the province of Lodi, as our love for our land must include good food. The event (entitled “Rassegna Gastronomica del Lodigiano” in Italian) is running until 27 November 2011 and offers a wide variety of gastronomic experiences including: upscale restaurants offering specially-priced menus for the event; classic Italian “trattoria” style restaurants; restaurants in the countryside; venues on estates or in parks that include walks or even rides on the Adda River. During the festival, some restaurants will offer: special dishes based on squash; house specialities, of which chefs are particularly proud; cold cut, cheese and wine tastings led by master tasters and sommeliers.
